On February 8 it rained so hard that it eventually started to hail. Good thing that Belle’s got her very own royal umbrella sharer.
“Can You See the Lanterns Tonight?” featuring Maximus and Pascal, a parody of, of course, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” on The Lion King.
With Maximus taking Timon’s place and Pascal taking Pumbaa’s place. I randomly thought of how it sort of related to them and made this cause I LOVE to make song parodys (I’ve posted bits of mine on here before in meme form!)
If you have a certain song you’d like a Disney character to sing, just message me and I’ll start on a new one :)!
Pixie Dust Paycheck: Cinder Ellie
The other day I sat to have lunch with one of my favorite Cast Members from the kitchen. We were exchanging stories about magical moments and she shared with me one that was very special, and also personal. I thought I’d share it with you guys.
About five years ago, she went to the parks with her granddaughters to Magic Kingdom and had decided to dress up for the occasion. Her 6 year old granddaughter, (which we will call Mary, for the purpose of this story) was dressed as Princess Aurora and her 11 year old granddaughter, Ellie, was dressed as Cinderella in her peasant outfit, complete with smudges on her cheeks. The entire day, Mary was delighted at how every Cast Member, and even characters, referred to her as princess and gave her royal treatment and was bursting with joy. Ellie, however, felt as if she went by unnoticed, as nobody really paid much attention and was incredibly disappointed and blue for the rest of the day. Not much was cheering her up, and as they were standing waiting for the parade, Grandma noticed her granddaughter’s endless pout and asked her about it. She announced thought a few tears how much she regretted the decision of dressing up as “peasant” Cinderella, because nobody called her pretty or a princess and she felt left out.
Suddenly, they noticed the parade had come to a complete halt, and some of the characters were entertaining the crowd. They suspected perhaps something had gone wrong, but before they could even figure anything out, there was Prince Charming, extending his arms towards Ellie and exclaiming; “I’ve been looking everywhere for you! Would you care to join me for a stroll?” Without hesitation, Ellie took his hand and as he twirled her once, the parade made motion that it would continue, and off they went, hand in hand, until the exit of the parade, where he kissed her hand and bid her farewell.
I think this is one of the sweetest moments I have ever heard of, and I’m glad that it happened to someone so dear to me.
